20. Και εξηγερθη ο Δαβιδ ενωρις το πρωι και αφησας τα προβατα εις φυλακα, ελαβε και υπηγε, καθως προσεταξεν αυτον ο Ιεσσαι και ηλθεν εις το περιχαρακωμα, ενω το στρατευμα εξηρχετο εις παραταξιν και ηλαλαξαν προς την μαχην
