39. Και οτε ηκουσεν ο Δαβιδ οτι απεθανεν ο Ηαβαλ, ειπεν, Ευλογητος Κυριος, οστις εκρινε την κρισιν μο περι του ονειδισμου μου του γενομενου παρα του Ηαβαλ, και ημποδισε τον δουλον αυτου απο κακου και την κακιαν του Ηαβαλ εστρεψεν ο Κυριος κατα της κεφαλης αυτου. Και απεστειλεν ο Δαβιδ και ελαλησε προς την Αβιγαιαν, δια να λαβη αυτην γυναικα εις εαυτον.
