12. Ελαβε λοιπον ο Δαβιδ το δορυ και το αγγειον του υδατος απο πλησιον της κεφαλης του Σαουλ και ανεχωρησαν, και ουδεις ειδε και ουδεις ενοησε και ουδεις εξυπνησε διοτι παντες εκοιμωντο, επειδη βαθυς υπνος παρα Κυριου επεσεν επ αυτους.
