1. Και απεστειλεν Ιησους ο υιος του Ηαυη εκ Σιττειμ δυο ανδρας να κατασκοπευσωσι κρυφιως, λεγων, Υπαγετε, ιδετε την γην και την Ιεριχω. Οι δε υπηγον και εισηλθον εις οικιαν γυναικος πορνης, ονομαζομενης Ρααβ, και κατελυσαν εκει.
