1. Και οτε ηκουσαν παντες οι βασιλεις των Αμορραιων, οι περαν του Ιορδανου προς δυσμας, και παντες οι βασιλεις των Χαναναιων, οι παρα την θαλασσαν, οτι ο Κυριος απεξηρανε τα υδατα του Ιορδανου απ εμπροσθεν των υιων Ισραηλ εωσου διεβησαν, διελυθησαν αι καρδιαι αυτων και δεν εμεινε πλεον εις αυτους πνοη, απο του φοβου των υιων Ισραηλ.
