6. εἰ δ' οἱ γέροντες τῶν εβραίων διὰ τὴν εὐσέβειαν καὶ βασανισμοὺς ὑπομείναντες εὐσέβησαν ἀποθάνοιμεν ἂν δικαιότερον ἡμεῖς οἱ νέοι τὰς βασάνους τῶν σῶν ἀναγκῶν ὑπεριδόντες ἃς καὶ ὁ παιδευτὴς ἡμῶν γέρων ἐνίκησεν
