39. És mikor Dávid meghallotta, hogy Nábál meghalt, monda: Áldott legyen az Úr, ki bosszút állott Nábálon az én gyaláztatásomért, és szolgáját visszatartotta a gonosztól, a Nábál gonoszságát pedig visszafordítá az Úr az ő fejére! És elkülde Dávid, és izent Abigailnak, hogy elvenné őt feleségéül.
