26. És átkot szóla Józsué azon a napon, mondván: Átkozott legyen az Úr előtt az a férfiú, a ki felkél, hogy megépítse e várost, Jérikhót! Az ő első szülöttjére rakja le annak alapját s legifjabb fiára állítsa fel annak kapuit!
