1. Grádicsok éneke; Dávidtól. Uram, nem fuvalkodott fel az én szívem, szemeim sem láttak magasra, és nem jártam nagy dolgok után, erőmet haladó csodadolgok után;
  
2. Sőt lecsendesítém és elnémítám lelkemet. A milyen az elválasztott gyermek az anyjánál; mint az elválasztott gyermek, olyan bennem az én lelkem.
  
3. Bízzál Izráel az Úrban mostantól fogva mindörökké!
