3. Most azért eredj, s verd meg az amalekitákat, s pusztítsd el mindenüket: ne kíméld őket, s meg ne kívánj holmijukból semmit sem, hanem ölj meg férfit s asszonyt, gyermeket és csecsemőt, szarvasmarhát, s aprójószágot, tevét és szamarat egyaránt.«
