3. Meg is esküdött újra Dávidnak. Ám Dávid azt mondta: »Nyilván tudja apád, hogy én kegyelmet találtam szemedben, s azért azt fogja mondani magában: `Ne tudjon erről Jonatán, nehogy elszomorodjék!' Én azonban az Úr életére és a te életedre mondom, hogy szinte csak egy lépés választ el engem a haláltól.«
