16. Nos tehát, Uram, Izrael Istene, teljesítsd szolgádnak, az atyámnak, Dávidnak azt, amit megígértél, amikor azt mondtad: `Nem fogy el előttem ivadékod Izrael királyi székéről, feltéve, hogy fiaid vigyáznak útjukra és az én törvényem szerint járnak, úgy, amint te is én előttem jártál.'
