8. Lám, emberfölötti kevélységgel telve azt hitte magáról, hogy a tenger hullámainak is parancsol, és mérleggel mérheti a magas hegyeket, most pedig a földön terült el, és hordozható ágyon volt kénytelen vitetni magát, és így saját maga tett bizonyságot Isten nyilvánvaló erejéről.
