12. Hírül vitték erre Dávid királynak, hogy az Úr megáldotta Obededomot és mindenét az Isten ládájáért. Erre Dávid elment, s vigasság közepette átvitte az Isten ládáját Obededom házából a Dávid-városba. Dávid hét énekkart és áldozati borjút is vitt magával.
