11. Noha Dániel ezt tudta – azt tudniillik, hogy a rendeletet kibocsátották –, bement a házába, és felső termének Jeruzsálem felé nyitott ablakánál naponként háromszor térdre borult és imádkozott, s magasztalta Istenét, úgy, amint azelőtt is tenni szokta.
