19. Ha hosszú ideig ostromolsz egy várost, s ostromló művekkel veszed körül, hogy bevedd, ki ne vágd azokat a fákat, amelyekről enni lehet, s ne pusztítsd el fejszével körös-körül a vidéket, mert fa az és nem ember, s nem szaporítja az ellened hadakozók számát.
