13. Elmondott fele­ségének, Záresnek, meg barátainak mindent, ami vele történt; mire a bölcsek, akiknek kikérte tanácsát, meg felesége ezt felelték neki: »Ha Mardókeus, akivel szemben megkezdődött bukásod, zsidó származású, nem tudsz ellenállni neki, vele szemben teljesen el fogsz bukni.«
