17. Egyszer érte küldött Cidkija király, és elhozatta őt. Megkérdezte tőle a király titokban, a házában: »Van-e ige az Úrtól?« Erre Jeremiás így szólt: »Van.« Majd ezt mondta: »Babilon királyának kezébe kerülsz.«
