13. Bagoász eltávozott Holofernésztől, bement Judithoz és így szólt hozzá: »Ne vonakodjék a szép leány eljönni az én uramhoz, hogy tiszteletben legyen előtte, igyék velünk bort örömmel és legyen ma olyan, mint Asszíria fiainak leányai közül egy, akik Nebukadnezár házában vannak.«
