17. Az angyal így felelt: »Elmegyek vele. Ne félj, oda is, vissza is szerencsés lesz utunk, mert az út biztonságos.« Tóbit így szólt hozzá: »Légy áldott testvér!« Majd hívta fiát és ezt mondta neki: »Készülj fel az útra fiam, és kelj útra testvéreddel. Isten, aki a mennyben van, oltalmazzon titeket itt és vezessen vissza benneteket hozzám egészségben, és az ő angyala kísérjen és védjen benneteket fiam.« Tóbiás kiment, hogy útjára induljon, megcsókolta apját és anyját. Tóbit ezt mondta neki: »Szerencsés utat!«
