38. Sekaliannya itu, prajurit-prajurit, orang-orang dalam barisan tempur, datang ke Hebron dengan tulus hati untuk mengangkat Daud menjadi raja atas seluruh Israel; memang juga seluruh orang Israel yang lain dengan bulat hati hendak mengangkat Daud menjadi raja.
