Juga dengan perantaraan nabi Yehu bin Hanani firman TUHAN telah datang melawan Baesa dan melawan keluarganya, baik karena segala yang jahat yang telah dilakukannya di mata TUHAN, sehingga ia menimbulkan sakit hati TUHAN dengan perbuatan tangannya, dan dengan demikian menjadi sama seperti keluarga Yerobeam, maupun oleh karena ia telah membunuh Yerobeam.
