6. Hal itu terdengar oleh Saul, sebab Daud dan orang-orang yang bersama-sama dengan dia telah diketahui tempatnya. Adapun Saul ada di Gibea, sedang duduk di bawah pohon tamariska di bukit, dengan tombaknya di tangan dan semua pegawainya berdiri di dekatnya.
