11. Daud tidak membiarkan hidup seorangpun, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan, untuk dibawa ke Gat, sebab pikirnya: "Jangan-jangan mereka mengabarkan tentang kami, dengan berkata: Beginilah dilakukan Daud." Itulah kebiasaannya, selama ia tinggal di daerah orang Filistin.
