3. Abia memulai perang dengan pasukan pahlawan-pahlawan perang, yang jumlahnya empat ratus ribu orang pilihan, sedangkan Yerobeam mengatur barisan perangnya melawan dia dengan delapan ratus ribu orang pilihan, pahlawan-pahlawan yang gagah perkasa.
