4. Tetapi kedapatanlah oleh raja Asyur, bahwa di pihak Hosea ada persepakatan, karena Hosea telah mengirimkan utusan-utusan kepada So, raja Mesir, dan tidak mempersembahkan lagi upeti kepada raja Asyur, seperti biasanya tahun demi tahun; sebab itu raja Asyur menangkap dia dan membelenggu dia dalam penjara.
