Mungkin TUHAN, Allahmu, sudah mendengar segala perkataan juru minuman agung yang telah diutus oleh raja Asyur, tuannya, untuk mencela Allah yang hidup, sehingga TUHAN, Allahmu, mau memberi hukuman karena perkataan-perkataan yang telah didengar-Nya. Maka baiklah engkau menaikkan doa untuk sisa yang masih tinggal ini!"
