2. Maka berbicaralah Sekhanya bin Yehiel, dari bani Elam, katanya kepada Ezra: "Kami telah melakukan perbuatan tidak setia terhadap Allah kita, oleh karena kami telah memperisteri perempuan asing dari antara penduduk negeri. Namun demikian sekarang juga masih ada harapan bagi Israel.
