35. Sekalian anaknya laki-laki dan perempuan berusaha menghiburkan dia, tetapi ia menolak dihiburkan, serta katanya: "Tidak! Aku akan berkabung, sampai aku turun mendapatkan anakku, ke dalam dunia orang mati!" Demikianlah Yusuf ditangisi oleh ayahnya.
