3. Sebab orang Mesir adalah manusia, bukan allah, dan kuda-kuda mereka adalah makhluk yang lemah, bukan roh yang berkuasa. Apabila TUHAN mengacungkan tangan-Nya, tergelincirlah yang membantu dan jatuhlah yang dibantu, dan mereka sekaliannya habis binasa bersama-sama.
