39. Ketika orang-orang Israel mundur dalam pertempuran itu, maka suku Benyamin mulai menyerang orang Israel, sehingga terbunuh kira-kira tiga puluh orang, karena pikir mereka: "Tentulah orang-orang itu terpukul kalah sama sekali oleh kita seperti dalam pertempuran yang dahulu."
