6. Tetapi burung yang masih hidup haruslah diambilnya bersama-sama dengan kayu aras, kain kirmizi dan hisop, lalu bersama-sama dengan burung itu semuanya harus dicelupkannya ke dalam darah burung yang sudah disembelih di atas air mengalir itu.
