18. Apabila imam sudah menghadapkan perempuan itu kepada TUHAN, haruslah ia menguraikan rambut perempuan itu, lalu meletakkan korban peringatan, yakni korban sajian cemburuan, ke atas telapak tangan perempuan itu, sedang di tangan imam haruslah ada air pahit yang mendatangkan kutuk.
