26. Para pegawai Saul menyampaikan pesan itu kepada Daud, dan Daud menerima tawaran raja. Karena itu, sebelum batas waktunya habis, ia berangkat dengan anak buahnya ke daerah Filistin. Dibunuhnya 200 orang Filistin, lalu diambilnya kulit kulup mereka, dan diserahkannya kepada Saul tanpa kurang satu pun. Setelah itu Saul mengawinkan Mikhal dengan Daud.
