3. Ketika sisa tentara yang kalah sudah kembali ke perkemahan, para pemimpin Israel berkata, "Mengapa gerangan TUHAN membiarkan kita dikalahkan orang Filistin pada hari ini? Mari kita ambil Peti Perjanjian TUHAN dari Silo, dan kita bawa ke mari, supaya TUHAN mau menolong kita dan menyelamatkan kita dari musuh."
