14. Sesuai dengan peraturan-peraturan Daud ayahnya, Salomo mengatur tugas-tugas harian untuk para imam dan untuk orang Lewi yang harus menyanyikan puji-pujian kepada TUHAN dan membantu para imam dalam melaksanakan upacara-upacara ibadah. Juga para pengawal Rumah TUHAN dibaginya dalam regu-regu untuk setiap pintu gerbang, sesuai dengan petunjuk Daud hamba Allah.
