23. Tetapi TUHAN kasihan kepada umat-Nya dan mengampuni mereka. Ia tidak mau membiarkan mereka dimusnahkan melainkan menolong mereka, demi perjanjian-Nya dengan Abraham, Ishak dan Yakub. Sampai sekarang tidak pernah Ia melupakan umat-Nya.
