1. Raja-raja biasanya maju berperang pada musim semi. Dan pada musim semi tahun itu Daud menyuruh Yoab maju berperang bersama para perwiranya dan seluruh tentara Israel; lalu mereka mengalahkan orang Amon dan mengepung kota Raba. Tetapi Daud tinggal di Yerusalem.
