25. Daud berkata kepada utusan itu, "Kuatkanlah hati Yoab dan katakanlah kepadanya supaya jangan berkecil hati, sebab tidak dapat diramalkan siapa yang akan mati dalam pertempuran. Katakanlah kepadanya supaya melancarkan serangan yang lebih hebat lagi terhadap kota itu sampai kota itu menyerah."
