14. Lalu Daud berkata kepada semua pegawainya yang ada di Yerusalem, "Mari kita mengungsi. Ini satu-satunya jalan supaya kita luput dari Absalom. Tidak lama lagi ia akan datang. Cepatlah, jangan sampai kita dapat dikejar dan dikalahkannya, sehingga seluruh penduduk kota dibunuh!"
