8. Dengan pertolongan Allah, Daniel disayang dan dikasihani oleh Aspenas. Daniel bertekad untuk tidak menajiskan dirinya dengan makanan dan minuman anggur dari istana raja, sebab itu ia minta kepada Aspenas supaya boleh mendapat makanan lain.
