8. Setelah itu ia meneruskan perjalanannya ke selatan, ke daerah berbukit di sebelah timur kota Betel, dan berkemah di antara Betel dan kota Ai: Betel di sebelah barat dan Ai di sebelah timur. Juga di situ ia mendirikan mezbah dan menyembah TUHAN.
