17. Untuk ketiga kalinya Yesus bertanya kepadanya, "Simon anak Yona, apakah engkau mencintai Aku?" Petrus menjadi sedih sebab Yesus bertanya kepadanya sampai tiga kali. Maka Petrus menjawab lagi, "Tuhan, Tuhan tahu segala-galanya. Tuhan tahu saya mencintai Tuhan!" Lalu Yesus berkata kepadanya, "Peliharalah domba-domba-Ku.
