Keturunan Yusuf itu menjawab, "Daerah pegunungan itu tidak cukup luas untuk kami, sedangkan bangsa Kanaan yang tinggal di dataran-dataran rendah mempunyai kereta-kereta perang dari besi baik mereka yang tinggal di Bet-Sean dan desa-desa sekitarnya, maupun mereka yang tinggal di Lembah Yizreel."
