33. Orang-orang Israel, dengan pemimpin-pemimpin, perwira-perwira, hakim-hakim, dan juga orang-orang asing yang tinggal di antara mereka, berdiri di sebelah-menyebelah Peti Perjanjian TUHAN menghadap para imam Lewi yang memikul Peti Perjanjian itu. Separuh dari orang-orang itu menghadap ke Gunung Gerizim, dan separuhnya lagi menghadap ke Gunung Ebal. Musa, hamba TUHAN itu, sudah memerintahkan supaya mereka melakukan hal itu apabila tiba waktunya untuk mereka menerima berkat yang dijanjikan TUHAN.
