3. Kukatakan kepada mereka, "Pintu gerbang Yerusalem baru boleh dibuka kalau hari sudah siang dan harus sudah ditutup serta dipasang palangnya sebelum para penjaga lepas tugas sore hari. Selain itu harus ditunjuk piket penjagaan dari antara penduduk Yerusalem, sebagian untuk pos-pos penjagaan dan sebagian lagi untuk berpatroli di daerah sekeliling rumah mereka."
