1. Nyanyian ziarah Daud. Aku gembira ketika orang berkata kepadaku, "Mari kita ke Rumah TUHAN!"
  
2. Sekarang kami sudah tiba di gerbang kota Yerusalem.
  
3. Yerusalem yang dibangun sebagai kota tersusun rapi dan indah.
  
4. Ke sinilah suku-suku bangsa datang, suku-suku bangsa pilihan TUHAN, untuk bersyukur kepada-Nya sesuai dengan perintah-Nya.
  
5. Di sinilah raja-raja keturunan Daud menghakimi rakyatnya.
  
6. Berdoalah bagi kesejahteraan Yerusalem: "Semoga semua orang yang mencintaimu sejahtera.
  
7. Semoga ada damai di dalam wilayahmu, dan ketentraman di dalam benteng-bentengmu."
  
8. Demi kaum kerabat dan sahabatku aku berkata, "Semoga engkau sejahtera!"
  
9. Demi Rumah TUHAN, Allah kita, aku berdoa agar engkau bahagia.
