12. Kemudian Daud mengambil tombak dan kendi itu dari sebelah kepala Saul, lalu mereka pergi. Tidak ada yang melihatnya, tidak ada yang mengetahuinya, tidak ada yang terbangun, sebab sekaliannya tidur, karena TUHAN membuat mereka tidur nyenyak.
