13. Raja Rehabeam menunjukkan dirinya kuat dalam pemerintahannya di Yerusalem. Rehabeam berumur empat puluh satu tahun pada waktu ia menjadi raja, dan tujuh belas tahun lamanya ia memerintah di Yerusalem, kota yang dipilih TUHAN dari antara segala suku Israel untuk membuat nama-Nya tinggal di sana. Nama ibunya ialah Naama, seorang perempuan Amon.
