22. Lagi kata Ruben kepada mereka: "Janganlah tumpahkan darah, lemparkanlah dia ke dalam sumur yang ada di padang gurun ini, tetapi janganlah apa-apakan dia" maksudnya hendak melepaskan Yusuf dari tangan mereka dan membawanya kembali kepada ayahnya.
